What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Helping to teach others that motion moves emotions and that all feelings are meant to be felt!

The best piece of advice I've been given is…

Taylor is a licensed social worker who has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, LGBTQ+ people, and trauma survivors. She received her masters in social work from the University of Illinois Chicago with a specialization in mental health after completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Kansas. Previously, she worked in higher levels of healthcare and victim advocacy.

Taylor's approach to therapy is helping to make difficult life situations a little less hard by going through them together as a team. She prides herself in her ability to create a non-judgmental and safe atmosphere for each of her clients. The most common interventions she uses in therapy are CBT, positive affirmations, DBT, group work, and mindfulness. Her favorite mindfulness activities include going for a walk, creating art, and engaging in the five senses. 

When Taylor is not at work she enjoys relaxing with friends and family, gardening, working out and watching the latest true-crime documentary on Netflix.
