There is no typical session at 515 Fitness, however, there is a typical structure to a session. Each 60-minute individual session takes place with your own personal therapist in a private, separate studio without interference. Cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, yoga, art therapy, music therapy and play therapy are just a few of the techniques that we typically utilize with clients during these sessions. Exercise activities include paddle boarding, weightlifting, biking, running and tennis just to name a few. We currently provide services to all age groups ranging from 3-75 years old.

Also included at the end of each session is a nutritious, homemade smoothie to replenish and nourish your body with essential nutrients. (Check out this week’s smoothie recipes below). With 2-5 sessions per week we provide quicker results and consistency to build habits that will improve your everyday lifestyle and well-being.

what does a session look like?

  • 10 minutes: warm up followed by dynamic stretching

  • 30 minutes: customized exercise routine

  • 10 minutes: cool down

  • Talk Therapy: while all of the physical activity is being completed, you will be engaging in talk therapy with your therapist in order to help decrease stress, increase self esteem, reduce your anxiety, or help each client with their specific needs

  1. How do I pay for sessions? What type of insurances do you accept.
Many insurance providers have bundled with 515 Fitness to offer coverage for therapy sessions because our main focus is on mental health counseling. Physical activity is the secondary component incorporated into every session. Such insurance companies include Medicare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, etc. We are always looking to expand our reach with insurance providers and will advocate for coverage on your behalf. If you do not have insurance, you can meet with our Office Manager to determine a suitable payment arrangement.

  2. How does 515 Fitness make their clients feel comfortable at each session?
We start by having your therapist greet you at the door, we dress differently (workout attire), you do not sit across a desk from us—your therapist moves alongside you. What we do is the perfect blend of talk therapy and physical activity which allows a client to open up about issues and concerns they are currently experiencing in their everyday lives.

  3. I haven’t worked out in a long time. Will that be taken into account before my workouts are decided?
Sessions are modified to fit each client’s needs. As part of the initial paperwork, you will complete a fit test. This fit test will include your initial measurements and starting weight but will also test your basic fitness level. We also have a fitness consultant who meets with clients to develop their own personal workout binder. This binder will include each client’s fitness goals, base line levels of fitness, and workouts that are completed.

  4. Do you offer any type of child care?
We do not offer monitored or structured child care, we however love to find ways to allow children to participate in sessions with their parent and have found that this will sometimes bring out areas of concern that may not otherwise be evident.

  5. Is there a monthly membership fee?
Because we are not a gym, we do not have a monthly membership fee. If you have a co-pay with your insurance, that co-pay will still be expected at time of service.

  6. How many times can I come per week?
We recommend that you to come to 515 Fitness, Inc. at least 2-5 times per week and continue to engage in other activities on a daily basis outside of sessions. We are willing to see clients as many times as they would like to be seen in a week and do have some clients who consistently come 5 times a week. Each session lasts 60 minutes.

  7. What are your business hours?
At 515 Fitness, Inc., our primary goal is to meet the client’s needs so we try to be as flexible as possible with business hours. We also will try to make something work for every client so if you need an uncommon appointment time, please don’t hesitate to ask.

  8. Can I bring my family member to a session? How much would it cost for me to bring a friend?
You are always more than welcome to bring a friend or family member with you to a session. We ask that our guests fill out a basic information sheet and a release form for liability. Your fee for additional guest will be determined based upon either your insurance information or our sliding scale for those who do not currently have insurance.
