Q & A with Kinga (she/her)

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

The most inspiring part of my job is when clients reflect on their growth from start to present and realize how much progress they've made; Sometimes the small wins don't seem like much until one day you're looking back and see how those small wins added up to to big change! One more inspiring part of my job: when any of the 515 Fitness staff I work with start talking about their specialized area of interest/expertise in mental health. That energy is contagious!

The best piece of advice that I've been give is: if after school or work, you want to complete a not-so-favorite task (eg. homework, making a dentist appointment, finally putting away the clothes in the dryer that you've been repeat drying every couple of days until you can build up the energy/motivation to do it, etc), don't take your shoes off when you get home! For most of us, taking our shoes off signals to our brain that we're transitioning from a work/focus/sport-mode head space to a time to unwind/relax/rest-mode head space. To avoid tracking in mud, dirt, germs, etc, slip on some shoe or boot covers (you can find them on Amazon).
